Beautiful large half hat that covers almost the entire back of the head. The fascinator is elaborately embroidered with lace flowers and bright pearls in mother-of-pearl look. The shape and design is inspired by the elegant half hats of the 50s and reminds us a bit of Mrs. Maisel. By the way, in the 50s white was not only worn for weddings, but was considered an elegant colour for all kinds of festive occasions.

White hibiscus hair flower - tropical flower

White hibiscus flowers are the symbol of purity and innocence. The hibiscus flower is almost a must for an exotic rockabilly look. The large, colourful flowers are also popular as a tattoo motif. The hibiscus has its origin in South East Asia, where it also has a great symbolic meaning. It is revered as a national flower. The "imperishable flower" stands for determination and perseverance.
Here there are 2 large flowers on one large leaf, so that there is no unattractive "back" and the hair flower looks pretty from all sides.
They are fastened with a crocodile clip on the underside.

Vintage style pillbox hat in Ivory.

In creamy white, our Pillbox hat looks particularly elegant. We can imagine this stylish Vintage hat not only going well with costumes, but also as a bridal hat. Especially weddings in rockabilly style are very popular. The pillbox hat describes a stiff, oval to round hat that is flattened at the top. Especially in the 50's/ 60's it was a popular fashion accessory of Jaqueline Kennedy, who was considered one of the best dressed women in the world. Our pillbox hats are made by hand. Their inner diameter is approx. 16.5 cm and a height of approx.6 cm, the lid/crown is flat held and slightly curved. The hats are made of a skeleton of Caoutchouc to keep their shape and are lined on the inside with taffeta. For a secure hold there is a hair comb in the inner part, for stormy wind and weather an additional hair band can be attached (included in delivery). The bow or the seam on the brim belongs to the back, so that the hat is worn on the side of the head or in classic style diagonally on the back of the head.

Ivory tassel - earrings with fringes in vintage style.

Accessories with fringes have a long history and can be found in all countries and decades. Think for example of the fringed dresses of the 20s, the tassels as found on a Chinese hair ornament or even pom-pom like in Latin America. The name "cart wheel - hat" is described wide-brimmed hat with a very flat crown and can be made from a variety of materials. This hat was made us from straw (we dye the straw ourselves), as decorations serves a floral arrangement of cherry blossoms. The hat is fastened with long ribbons to tie at the nape of the neck or under the chin, there is also a tuck-in comb on the inside. The ribbons have a Velcro closure, so they can be placed elsewhere in the crown or removed altogether (so you can wash them, for example).  Our large Cartwheel Hat has a diameter of about 39 cm, the inner diameter of the flat crown is about 14.5 cm with a height of 3-4 cm. Already before the First World War this big hat became popular, at the end of the 30's the hat appeared in many movies. Especially in metropolises like New York, Paris and London wagon wheel hat became a popular accessory for ladies.

Based on a pattern from the 50s, we have developed our new Half Hat for you. Its unusual shape represents leaves. The fascinator is kept very flat and is reinforced with wire and flexible. A fine net veil gives the Half Hat a noble finish.

Noble Half Hat "Infinity" in ivory with lace - hand embroided

It was precisely the significance of the infinity sign that inspired me to design an infinity hat for the bride. There is probably no more beautiful meaning than saying "yes" to the love of your life with the symbolism of infinity on your head. This simple hat shape was already quite popular in the 50s. The simple, but nevertheless extraordinary shape of the lying eight adorned the head of many ladies. The figure eight is the symbol for infinity, hence the name "Infinity Hat". To some, this hat may be known as the Mrs. Maisel summer hat as a fitting accessory to holidaying in the Catskills. The hat is slightly padded and otherwise kept flat, so its dreamlike shape is shown off to its best advantage. The shape is reinforced with wire, so the hat can be bent to fit the shape of the head. 2 crocodile clips on the underside secure the hat in the hair. Tweed Fascinator with brown fishbone pattern - small half hat with bow.

This fascinator is made for classic vintage fashion, especially pretty with all wool fabrics. To make the half hat discreet, we have shrunk it a little. So the "half fascinator" is unobtrusive but decorative and only decorated with a wide flat bow. The beautiful woollen fabrics practically cry out for a tweed run.
