By the way, in the 50s white was not only worn for weddings, but was considered an elegant colour for all kinds of festive occasions.

Vintage style pillbox hat in Ivory.

In creamy white, our Pillbox hat looks particularly elegant. We can imagine this stylish Vintage hat not only going well with costumes, but also as a bridal hat. Especially weddings in rockabilly style are very popular. The pillbox hat describes a stiff, oval to round hat that is flattened at the top. Especially in the 50's/ 60's it was a popular fashion accessory of Jaqueline Kennedy, who was considered one of the best dressed women in the world. Our pillbox hats are made by hand. Their inner diameter is approx. 16.5 cm and a height of approx.6 cm, the lid/crown is flat held and slightly curved. The hats are made of a skeleton of Caoutchouc to keep their shape and are lined on the inside with taffeta. For a secure hold there is a hair comb in the inner part, for stormy wind and weather an additional hair band can be attached (included in delivery). The bow or the seam on the brim belongs to the back, so that the hat is worn on the side of the head or in classic style diagonally on the back of the head.

We say thanks to Miss Daisy, who inspired us to create this hat. The small vintage style hat is very sturdy, the cover is made of very high quality walkloden - a wool fabric that is perfect for the cold season. It is worn on the side and fastened with corocodile clips on the underside.

Mini Fascinator with bees and flower

Cute mini fascinator with printed bees and a deceptively real acrylic one. Save the bees! A small unobtrusive hair ornament for rockabilly beginners or those who like it less big - similar to a hair clip. Our Mini Fascinators have a diameter of approx. 7 cm. The base is made of rubber and is slightly curved. All Miranda's Choice hats are handmade, very neatly finished. There is a crocodile clip on the underside. So that the hair does not get damaged, this is covered with fabric, so that sharp edges are covered, but the tooth structure of the clamps still helps that the Mini Hat holds perfectly even with short hair.

Small round velvet hat in white with flowers and net - Circle Hat in Vintage Style

In our hat made of white velvet, the brim of the hat is replaced by pleated fabric that completely encircles the hat. The velvet is soft, noble and shimmering. For a special look, a fine net veil is draped around the hat. A small bouquet of flowers in is attached to the front.. The Circle Hat originates from the 40s. As the name suggests, the circle hat is a round hat with a rather flat crown. Velveteen describes the velvet-like material, which, as an achievement of industrialisation at the time, was not made of cotton but of synthetic fibre.  This hat was particularly popular in England and the USA. Our round hat in vintage style is not stiff but flexible in its shape. It is fastened with crocodile clips in the inner brim.

Black Fascinator embroidered with pearls classic vintage style.

Small white scattered flowers are on the fabric of this fascinator. The printed flowers are carefully embroidered with small beads, making the hat look very delicate. This makes it the perfect companion for a rockabilly party in the evening or for everyday wear in the office.

Turban - long hair band with wire - vintage pattern: diamond and yellow leaves.

The Turband hair band with a great vintage pattern can be tied in many different ways: flat, as a rose or in a zig-zag. The colours (black, white, yellow) match many outfits.
In the classic way, it is put on at the back of the head and the ends are twisted together once in the middle of the head, finally they are pushed under the band at the sides. If you like it a little more opulent, fold the ends tightly in a zigzag or crumple them up. Thanks to the wire, the hair band can do anything.
Wearing tip: The ears are covered, only the earlobes may be visible.
