THE LITTLE STRAW HAT: THE CANOTIER

The Canotier or Boater - a straw hat like a flourishing wheat field.

We also make our straw hats ourselves, we get our straw braid from a dealer in Germany, this ensures consistent quality of the material. We dye straw hats in brown or black ourselves. A classic among the hats is the summery-light canotier with a flat crown. You can wear our mini straw hat version cheekily on the side of your crown and still show off some of your artfully styled hairstyle. Straw hats go perfectly with playful summer outfits and the elegant cocktail dresses of the 50s. Our straw hat offers numerous combination possibilities with interchangeable flowers or trims.

HE BRINGS EXOTICISM: ASIAN CONE HAT

In the 1950s, the world was wide open. The whole of Europe was travelled and foreign countries were explored. The more exotic, the better. Our Asian cone-shaped summer hat is reminiscent of this era. In Asia, the large cone hat serves as protection against rain and sun. We have reduced it considerably to 23 cm and, as with all our hat models, we have produced it with great attention to detail. In the meantime, our cone hats are not only made of raffia, but you can also find different versions covered with fabric. Of course, the exotic Asian look remains the same.

We have also developed small round straw hats, with their spherical shape they are reminiscent of a boater hat. The round straw hat has a very small brim and is decorated with paper flowers and hat tulle.
