Flat straw hat & pastel flower corsage

This flat straw hat is called a circular saw because of its round shape and was very popular in the 50s. The small hat is completely handmade from braided straw, it is characterised by a very flat crown. Our straw hat is decorated with a narrow velvet band and a small pink light blue bouquet of flowers. The hatband and flowers are easily interchangeable, so you can quickly decorate your hat to match your wardrobe. The small bouquets are also very decorative as brooches. It looks pretty when your hat flower and your brooch are the same.

The small straw hat is fastened with 2 covered crocodile clips, there is also a band all around that protects hair and skin.

Coolie hat in red with raffia blossoms - Asian hat made of straw raffia in conical shape.

The cone hat (in pink) is a cute little summer hat made of raffia, decorated with pink hydrangeas and small pearls in the flower and small velvet leaves. In Asia, the conical hat is above all still found as a traditional headgear among the rural population. Nevertheless, this little bastard hat has also found its place in the world of vintage lovers. The ladies of the good old days were only too happy to let themselves be inspired by foreign lands. We shrunk the conical hat a bit and gave it a diameter of about 23cm, the height is about 6cm, it is fastened with crocodile clips on the bottom.  For decorations serve a colored border, handmade flowers made of raffia and small velvet leaves.

Great pillbox hat in bright mustard yellow brings back the 50's and conjures up a great accent at any time of year. The pillbox hat describes a stiff, oval to round hat that is flattened at the top. Especially in the 50's/ 60's it was made famous by Jaqueline Kennedy, who was considered one of the best dressed women in the world. Our pillbox hats are handmade with love. The inner diameter is approx. 16.5 cm and a height of approx. 6 cm, the lid/crown is folded and slightly curved. The hats are made of a skeleton made of Caoutchouc to keep their shape and are lined on the inside with taffeta. For a secure hold there is a hair comb in the inner part, for stormy wind and weather an additional hair band can be attached (included in delivery). The bow or the seam at the brim belongs to the back, so that the hat is worn on the side of the head or in classic style diagonally on the back of the head.

This straw hat is a real eye-catcher for any summer outfit. The hat is made entirely by hand in the miranda's Choice studio. Its diameter at the brim is approx. 31 cm, the inner diameter is approx. 2o cm. The crown is round and the brim is reinforced with wire so that it can also be bent. The hat is fastened with a comb or with ribbons (beige velvet, rubber hat band - included in delivery). Flowers can be attached to the Viennese braid.

Our new conical hat is made from a sturdy rubber mold and is decorated all around with an old vintage border with fringes in yellow and white. Similar designs already existed in the 50s. The hat goes great with summery outfits and is a real eye-catcher.  With a diameter of approx. 27 cm and a height of approx. 7 cm, it is fastened with crocodile clips on the underside. You can also attach it with a ribbon.

It is a matter close to our hearts to make the hat a standard element of the wardrobe again, similar to shoes or hats and scarves. Until the 1950s, wearing a hat was a matter of course and there were so many different models that there was a matching hat fashion for almost every occasion.

Our stable rubber moulds are made by ourselves according to the model of hat classics, through years of experience there are no limits to shape and size. This is how we create pillbox hats in the style of a Kackie Kennedy, round hats made of velvet with small flower decorations or even small hats made of high-quality Walkloden (100% wool).

Straw hats and cone hats

Our small - and now also large - straw hats are made from long straw braids that we buy from a German dealer. They resemble the shape of a boater hat, but are called canotier hats. Like almost all our hat models, they are invisibly fastened in the hair with crocodile clips. Our Asian-style hats can also be tied with flexible ribbons. We make these cone hats from raffia and decorate them with artificial fruits or fine flowers.

MFor me, the good hold of a hat is very important, so depending on the model, there are different fastening options: Crocodile clips, hair clips, bands or hairbands. How exactly the hat of your choice is fastened, is always also in the article description.

Super liebe Designerin die mit dem Herz bei der Sache dabei ist, es ist immer schön Leute wie sie kennen zu lernen die lieben was sie tun! Ich liebe mein Outfit welches eigentlich für Las Vegas gedacht war, uns Corona leidervallen einen strich durch die Rechnung gemacht hat.
