Half hat/ large facsinator with small fruit bowl made of straw and fruit - vintage tutti frutti hat.

Eye-catching large kidney shaped fascinator with fruit. Fruit and fruits were already popular accessories in the early 50s. Carmen Miranda in particular revived this style with the tutti frutti hat. We put the crown on it or you with this elaborate headdress.
The base is edged with straw and on top of it is a straw basket filled with all kinds of fruits (grapes, strawberries, bananas...). This headdress is absolutely exceptional.
Like all products of Mirandas Choice, this headdress is made with absolute care. The base (base) is made of rubber and is slightly arched, on the underside there are 2 crocodile clips. So the hair is not damaged, they are covered with fabric, so sharp edges are covered. The Fascinator holds the tooth structure of the clamps perfectly even with short hair.

Size: approx. 24x12cm. 
Material: base made of caoutchouc (natural rubber) lined with 100% cotton, handemade and handpainted fruits (made of styrofoam), synthetic materials, textile-leaves, silk flowers or flowers made of styrofoam, crocodile clips.

Miranda's Choice stands since 2008 for lovingly handmade products in vintage style.
The name "Miranda's Choice" is our homage to the great Carmen Miranda, who became famous mainly for her eye-catching headdress.

Behind the name, hats, jewelry and everything else is me - Nadine. 
I love the fashion of the early 50's, even more I love to create new pieces based on the wonderful designs of the early times..
