This type of hat was also less common in the 50s than, for example, the Velveteen hats. Spotted this hat not only on Mrs. Maisel, but also on the early Queen Elizabeth. The shape is somewhat reminiscent of a bowl. The shape is made of rubber and covered with velvet, braids round off the hat, the Mushroom Hat is trimmed with beads, felt balls and velvet leaves. It is worn on the side or on the back of the head, with 2 internal crocodile clips giving the hold.

This beautiful velvet fascinator is truly reminiscent of the beautiful headpieces of the 50s. This hat is inspired by the legendary bandeau hats. These wide bandeau hats with mostly floral shapes or motifs were made of velvet-like fabrics. On the underside there is a narrow metal band that adapts wonderfully to the shape of the head. For an even better hold, we have additionally provided the fascinator with two crocodile clips. Each individual leaf has a wire skeleton so that the leaves can be bent into the desired shape. Each individual leaf and flower are intricately handmade from slightly shimmering velvet.  The half hat can be worn in the middle, on the side or even on the back of the head.

Vintage style pillbox hat in mustard yellow.

Great pillbox hat in bright mustard yellow brings back the 50's and conjures up a great accent at any time of year. The pillbox hat describes a stiff, oval to round hat that is flattened at the top. Especially in the 50's/ 60's it was made famous by Jaqueline Kennedy, who was considered one of the best dressed women in the world. Our pillbox hats are handmade with love. The inner diameter is approx. 16.5 cm and a height of approx. 6 cm, the lid/crown is folded and slightly curved. The hats are made of a skeleton made of Caoutchouc to keep their shape and are lined on the inside with taffeta. For a secure hold there is a hair comb in the inner part, for stormy wind and weather an additional hair band can be attached (included in delivery). The bow or the seam at the brim belongs to the back, so that the hat is worn on the side of the head or in classic style diagonally on the back of the head.

Beautiful large half hat that covers almost the entire back of the head. The fascinator is elaborately embroidered with lace flowers and bright pearls in mother-of-pearl look.
