Las Vegas - our new collection

Carmen Miranda was definitely known for her colorful style, but she also shined with black outfits. We also went for the little big black and made this gorgeous headdress. Each petal was sewn by hand from a black fabric infused with silver tones. The flowers and large leaves are bendable and decorated with silver-gray acrylic beads. 

We have now made our popular Velveteen Circle Hats in other fabrics for our Las Vegas collection. This sweet hat, for example, is covered with a coarse cotton fabric in a gorgeous mauve tone, so it sets perfect accents to the matching color circle skirt "My Girl" with suspenders.

For the summer vintage look it does not always have to be skirts or dresses. Super practical and comfortable is our wrap pants. The pants are high cut and have a straight leg. The cotton fabric used is very practical, especially when traveling, because of its light crash look creases hardly matter. The pants are light and very airy and perfect for hot days at the beach. 

This great skirt looks very feminine and strong at the same time. Garments with suspenders usually have something very masculine, but paired with the soft cut of the circle skirt and optical concentration on the waist, this skirt emphasizes the feminine silouhette. Also the buttons on the suspenders themselves and on the central trim set again a great contrast,

Matching our "Ready for the beach" outfit comes here a great cone hat. The hat is made of rubber and covered with crochet raffia, the bottom is coated mniut a great fabric with floral print, the whole thing is rounded off by a fine fringe in beige. Originally, the cone hat, which originated in Asia, is tied from raffia or straw. 

The bright orange of this hair flower is a symbol of vitality and creativity. The lily is almost a must for an exotic rockabilly look. Gladly taken the large colorful flowers also as a tattoo motif. 
 

These slightly exotic earrings are handmade. We have attached to a real piece of bamboo a great pendant made of resin. The pendant swings slightly back and forth with every movement - like a plamen leaf in the wind. This fits very well, because this is exactly what the flat plate is also printed with. The earrings fit perfectly with tiki style and summer outfits.

The name "Wagon Wheel - Hat" is described wide brimmed hat with very flat crown and can be made from a variety of materials. We have a crown made of straw combined with a very wide brim covered with a beautiful Hawaii fabric in olive green with exotic floral print. It is decorated with artificial high quality flowers in orange and pink. 

This outfit is the absolute highlight of our Las Vegas collection, alone in the skirt are more than 40 hours of work. As inspration served the stage outfit of Carmen Miranda, which she last wore at a show in Las Veags in April 1955 just a few months before her death.

We have rarely made a more elaborate headdress. The headdress is covered all over with different fruits. The fruits are made of styrofoam and were lovingly handmade covered with sequin fabric. Besides bananas, grapes, pineapples, oranges, plums, peaches and apples can be found on the headdress. 

Noble and fruity ear jewelry for your grand entrance. These earrings are the bright madness! The grapes sparkle and glitter around the bet. Each individual fruit was covered with fabric in these earrings and put together in an eye-catching ensemble. For these extraordinary earrings we also have the matching fascinator for you! 

On a half curved hoop covered with velvet are large pendants in the shape of pineapple, grapes and pink red fruits. Each fruit was made by hand and covered with velvet fabrics & sequins. The hoop ends in bronze-colored link chains and can thus be easily adjusted to the desired length, a small snap hook serves as a clasp.

Admittedly, this skirt was not planned. We discovered this fabric and were simply so thrilled by its beautiful floral print that it was included in the collection. You just have to hem this skirt, the fabric is firm and has a velvety texture. The base color looks turquoise to blue-gray, depending on the light...
 

Suitable for the brighter season, we have picked a whole bouquet of colorful flowers made of resin and acrylic for you and processed the flowers in these earrings. Below a large cream-colored rose is a red hibsicus flower, small roses in pastel colors and a turquoise dahlia, the spaces are filled with shiny mini pearls. We like to let flowers do the talking, so this ear jewelry is made for our Las Vegas outfit "Velvety Flowers".

This turban in wonderful turquoise color and slightly shiny fabric is part of our Las Vegas collection, it was made to fit the skirt "Velvety Queen". Great and a little more opulent, the turban can be combined with a hair flower or as in this case with a flowery halfhat.
It has never been easier to wear a turban! We have prepared our turban hair bands perfectly for the. 

Inspired by our "velvety flowers" skirt we made this half hat. On a kidney-shaped base made of caoutchouc, countless colorful flowers are closely placed. Besides roses, peonies and hydrangeas in pastel colors (yellow, beige, mint), there is also a large lily in dark red. With this great headdress, summer and spring are even more fun.

Suitable for the brighter season, we have made a beautiful flower brooch for you. The high-quality textile flowers in money, beige, turquoise and pink can be combined great with many things. We like it a little more opulent, so we recommend the matching large half hat with the same flowers, as well as the gorgeous velvety swing skirt "velvety flowers" from our Las Vegas collection. The flower brooch is made on a sturdy base of rubber, on the back are two brooch pins for attachment again.

Aloha! We think vintage style, Hawaii and Tiki simply belong together! For this reason we have designed a very stylish bast skirt for you. The skirt is really something special, with similar models that you find in the carnival store, this skirt has nothing in common. The bast fringes were applied to the skirt in 4 layers, the original shape of the skirt is a circle skirt

A Tiki princess in a bast skirt must have a matching crown! On the large headdress is a handmade figure of the Tiki god Ku again. He symbolizes prosperity, a long life and is considered a protector deity in the Polynesian culture. He is framed by red flowers, white frangipanis, the typical pineapple and 2 large Monstera leaves. We have taken care to make the headdress comfortable and wearable in addition to its unique design. 

These earrings are lovingly handmade by us for you. On a grass-green Monstera Baltt meet a hand-painted Tiki figure une a red exotic flower to the Stell-dich-ein. The Tiki culture enjoyed great popularity especially in the 50's. A flat hat with a wide brim - this is the " Cartwheel - hat " , its crown is rather flat and it can be made of a variety of materials. This hat belongs to our "Esmeralda" skirt. Which means as much as Smarad in Spanish. The flat crown of this large hat is made of rubber and covered with fabric, its large brim looks light and carefree due to the fine lace fabric. This type of hat is worn sideways/ diagonally on the head. 

Matching the name "Esmaeralda", because it means "emerald" in Spanish, is this beautiful swing skirt. The skirt captivates with its color and elegance. The outer fabric is sewn from very noble lace fabric. The individual flowers have a wonderful structure and look partly three-dimensional by a kind of flocking. This also suits the emerald well, because very rare emeralds have inclusions that form a floral pattern (called trapiche).  All skirts are handmade from high quality fabrics in the studio!

This outfit sparkles with every disco ball around the bet. The off-the-shoulder top is elastic and fits great to your curves. It is gathered over the chest and is decorated with fabric flowers in rose look. It is accompanied by an A-line skirt worn at the waist

Based on the popular bandeau (barrette hats) from the 50's, we have made this half hat. In loving handwork we have sewn and tied textile roses and leaves made of sequined fabric and reinforced with wire. The bandeau hat fits wonderfully to the head shape, for a perfect hold provides an invisible metal hoop on the bottom and 2 crocodile clips. This half hat is part of our Las Vegas outfit "Glitter Queen" which is also made of sequin fabric, we also have matching earrings with roses and sequin ball.  The bandeau hat can be worn on the side, in the middle or even on the back of the head.

These sparkling stud earrings are part of our "Glitter Queen" outfit from our Las Veags collection, but they also look great solo. The roses are hand painted in a turquoise hue, below is a large pearl covered in sequin fabric, the ball is topped by a flower-like pearl cap in silver colors. Despite their size, the stud earrings are very light - just 1 gram each.

No, we don't have a spelling mistake in the title! The complete outfit is based on Carmen Miranda, but its bright orange reminds us a bit of tangerines.
The outfit consists of a skirt over knee-length and a top with 3/4 sleeve and wide round neckline, everything was set off with a black sequin border.
Unfortunately, there were delivery problems with the reorder of the magical fabric...

This great headdress is one of three we made following the example of Carmen Miranda's Show Pieces for Las Vegas. The large black base is edged with a sequin border, on top of which is a large bouquet of leaves and lily of the valley. The flowers are made of velvet, we covered each flower with fabric. In the back there are golden palm fronds, they are reinforced by wire and flexible.

Coordinated with our Mexican red outfit, we have made these earrings for you. The eye-catching ear jewelry is equipped above with a hand-painted rose, below a drop-shaped red frame swings, at him swinging beads in turquoise blue and dark green. Thus, the earring sets great accents and fits many colors.

We like to think outside the box and get inspired by foreign cultures. Well, skulls and sugar skull motifs are certainly not new in the rockabilly scene, but a bird skeleton headdress painted like the Calaveras on Day of the Dead seems new. We like the Mexican tradition of celebrating a day when loved ones who have died are not only honored, but celebrated with them once again. Whether in Europe or the USA, everywhere we find pretty painted skeletons like in Mexico again at Halloween

ur dusky pink Pillbox was inspired by the wonderful Grace Kelly, who wore similar hats. The pillbox hat describes a stiff, oval to round hat that is flattened at the top. This pillbox is something very special. It is covered with a fine cotton fabric in old rose, the fabric itself has a floral pattern woven into it. The brim is loosened up a bit by laid folds and the absolute eye-catcher are the handmade flowers and leaves, which are attached to the side. This hat was made for Miss Candyfloss' current summer collection. 

The name "cart wheel - hat" is described wide-brimmed hat with a very flat crown and can be made from a variety of materials. This hat was made us from straw (we dye the straw ourselves), as decorations serves a floral arrangement of cherry blossoms. The hat is fastened with long ribbons to tie at the nape of the neck or under the chin, there is also a tuck-in comb on the inside. The ribbons have a Velcro closure, so they can be placed elsewhere in the crown or removed altogether (so you can wash them, for example).  Our large Cartwheel Hat has a diameter of about 39 cm, the inner diameter of the flat crown is about 14.5 cm with a height of 3-4 cm. Already before the First World War this big hat became popular, at the end of the 30's the hat appeared in many movies. Especially in metropolises like New York, Paris and London wagon wheel hat became a popular accessory for ladies.

Admittedly, we immediately fell in love with this great fabric, it is flowing light, has a slight sheen, filigree bleeding, small stripes, a noble mint green and gold threads woven in and I immediately had in mind how it should look. BUT: I don't want to sew this dress a second time. Nevertheless, we do not want to deprive you of the outfit and the hat there is after all to buy in the store

The half hat covers almost the entire back of your head and is reminiscent of the noble cocktail hats from the 50s. Here, this type of half hat was worn especially for festive evening events.
